artist statement: i was thinking about stars and objects that i normally gravitate towards. i made this especially for a good friend and really like how it turned out.
artist bio: Owen Browder started his drawing journey in 2020 at the age of 9, after exploring color and character expression during the pandemic. he was awarded 3rd place in a local competition at Able Arts Work in Long Beach, CA in 2022 for his "the ostrich" entry in support of diabetes research at CHOC and with the support of Yamaha Cares for supplying upcycled instruments for the exhibit.
